Online Seminar — 4 June 2027, 18:00–19:30 BST
Wildfire Preparedness Seminar
A free 90-minute seminar on UK wildfire preparedness — timed for the start of the peak summer wildfire risk period. Covers defensible space, evacuation planning, the go-bag essentials, and what fire services do (and cannot do) during a wildfire event.
Why June
Early June marks the start of peak summer wildfire conditions across southern England and Wales. The Scottish spring season typically peaks in April–May. This seminar is timed to reach rural homeowners before conditions deteriorate — when there is still time to create defensible space and prepare an evacuation plan.
